Apply base coat before adding the color polish. Then apply the nail color in the center of the nail. Then apply onto the sides of the nail. Once all your nails are done, wait for it to dry. If the color that you've applied is really light, it needs another coat. Apply the second coat and make sure it dries thoroughly. Once dry, apply the top coat to make it shine and protect the color.
