Severe insomnia. My muscles are aching everywhere :-(. I was able to take a benzo every 2 - 3 days which is fine, because this way I don't get addicted to something else. I was on mirtazapine 15 mg for 2 1/2 years and I tapered fairly quickly half for six months down to 5 mg for a month down to 4 mg for two months down to three for a month then to 1 mg for two weeks and then jumped off . Was prescribed lorazepam 1mg before bed. It wasn't bad but has gradually gotten worse (sleep disturbances, anxiety, depression, total lack of focus, etc.) a quarter tablet for 5 days not any better with anxiety. Try to distract yourself as much as is possible with relaxing hobbies/activity/TV films, comedies maybe if you're not sleeping the sofa might be your best friend?
